What To Bring & Wear:

For all of our tours, you will never be more than 30 minutes from civilization.  There is no need to pack for an overnight stay. Some of the tours will have a combination of constructed wood bridges and boardwalks while other tours will just be natural paths.

The level of difficulty of each tour will depend on which one you select. Refer to our Tour Reference Guide for a description of each tour so that you can make an informed decision on which tour best suits your physical capabilities.

Be advised that on some tours, washroom facilities may be sparse.

In regard to attire, common sense should prevail.

Good, solid hiking shoes or boots are suggested.

You should check the local weather forecast the morning of your tour. In the event of rain, please call our emergency number to see if your tour has been cancelled. In most cases, for light rain or snow, tours are not cancelled.

ALWAYS dress for the weather. It is easier to shed layers if you don't need them then to not have them when you do need them.

Participants should bring at least one bottle of water, camera, binoculars, or walking stick, rain gear.  There are no changing rooms - arrive for your tour already properly dressed and ready to hit the trail.

Definition of Ecotourism :

"Ecotourism is a form of tourism involving visiting fragile, pristine, and relatively undisturbed natural areas, intended as a low-impact and often small scale alternative to standard commercial (mass) tourism. Its purpose may be to educate the traveler, to provide funds for ecological conservation, to directly benefit the economic development and political empowerment of local communities, or to foster respect for different cultures and for human rights. Since the 1980s ecotourism has been considered a critical endeavor by environmentalists, so that future generations may experience destinations relatively untouched by human intervention."  - - Wikipedia. -
