ABOUT OUR TOURS:

Aside from the spectacle that is Niagara Falls, the entire Niagara Region is one large photographic canvas rich with historical significance and extremely photogenic landscapes. Within this region is the Niagara Escarpment. The escarpment runs predominantly east/west from New York State, through Ontario, Michigan, Wisconsin and Illinois.

In February 1990, the Niagara Escarpment was designated a World Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO, making it one of 12 in Canada.

As with any tourist area, most of the best places are known only to the "locals".  Kevin and Natalie feel the there is a niche to be filled for those who want to visit Niagara through the "back door" and take an "off the beaten path" approach to seeing Niagara in all it's natural splendor.

Accompanied by Kevin as your guide, your camera in-hand, you will leave the common and well traveled paths of the tourism machine for a differnet kind of experience.

These less traveled trails and paths will reveal the true, intrinsic beauty of Niagara as you traverse wetlands, conservation areas, nature preserves, provincial parks and other natural wonders that weave a path in and around the Niagara Escarpment and Bruce Trail.

You will explore places that most visitors to the area rarely , if ever get an opportunity to see and photograph.

This is a truly inspiring photography experience that every nature and landscape photographer, naturalist or avid hiker will never forget.  While on the trails and paths, you are free to stop and photograph whatever you wish, whenever you wish. If you are a photo beginner, or just want some professional advice, at your request, Kevin will spend valuable one-on-one coachig time to help you get the shot you want.

There are tours of different lengths and physical capabilities. Every tour is guided by Kevin and/or Natalie. Each step of the way Kevin will coach and guide participants on photography technique taking regular rest stops for refreshments.  On longer safaris, a box lunch is provided.

You can bring your camera, any camera to take photos or your binoculars to watch birds and wildlife. Our safaris run year round rain or shine  (some exceptions apply).
